HPE Integrated Lights-Out 5 (iLO 5) displays connection status to Compute Ops
Management (COM) as "Connected;" however, the COM interface displays the connection status
to iLO 5 as "Not Connected."
The web-socket connection between iLO 5 and COM is disconnected from COM. In certain
instances, iLO 5 does not respond to the disconnect. Therefore, the iLO-COM connection
stops responding.
Scope
Any HPE system with iLO 5 firmware v2.43 (or later) managed by COM.
Resolution
As a workaround, reset iLO 5 or force-reconnect to Compute Ops Management from iLO 5
by performing the following:
From the iLO 5 web interface -> Management -> Compute Ops Management ->
Toggle the button to Disable/Enable.
