After updating firmware on any of the HPE Broadcom NX1-based network adapters listed in the Scope section below; the Operating System, BIOS/Platform Configuration (RBSU) and HPE Integrated Lights-Out (iLO) may not display the current running version of boot code. Instead, an incorrect and older version of boot code will be displayed. The correct version of boot code is properly installed on the network adapter after running and installing the Broadcom NX1 Online Firmware Upgrade Utility; but an error within the reporting library is incorrectly displaying an older version of the boot code. Note: This issue has been reported on April-22 Firmware Upgrade Utilities but some prior versions can be also impacted.
Any HPE platform configured with any of the following HPE Broadcom NX1-based network adapters: HPE Ethernet 1Gb 2-port 330i Adapter (LOM) HPE Ethernet 1Gb 4-port 331i Adapter (LOM) HPE Ethernet 1Gb 4-port FLR-T BCM5719 Adapter (629135-B22) HPE Ethernet 1Gb 4-port BASE-T BCM5719 Adapter (647594-B21) HPE Ethernet 1Gb 2-port 332i Adapter (LOM) HPE StoreEasy 1GbE 4-port 332T Adapter (Q2P90A) The following April-22 Online Firmware Upgrade Utilities versions (or prior) are affected: HPE Broadcom NX1 Online Firmware Upgrade Utility for Windows Server x64 Editions Version 5.2.6.0 (or prior) HPE Broadcom NX1 Online Firmware Upgrade Utility for Linux x86 Version 2.29.0 (or prior) HPE Broadcom NX1 Online Firmware Upgrade Utility for VMware Version 1.30.0 (or prior) Note: The network adapter(s) in this document are affected by a naming standard change for HPE products to help customers quickly and easily identify the specific vendor and model while configuring HPE platforms.
