For any Mellanox SH2200 Switch Modules for HPE Synergy, the internal cache tables may become out-of-sync during a reboot, an unexpected reboot, or during other instances. As a result, multicast traffic may stop flowing.
In the scenario described above, any Mellanox SH2200 Switch Modules for HPE Synergy running any firmware version.
To avoid this issue or if this issue has already occurred, enable spanning tree to resync the internal cache tables.Note:Spanning tree is enabled by default.Perform either of the following steps to connect to the switch:SSH into the switch directly using the mgmt0 IP address.ORi. SSH into the composer IP address and log in as Administrator. This will log into the main-view.ii. Type "console-view" to enter the console.iii. List available interconnect modules using command "show interconnect list".iv.
