On an HPE Moonshot 1500 Chassis, HPE ProLiant m750 Server Blades with any firmware version 2.55 to version 2.71 of HPE Integrated Lights-Out 5 may stop responding when multiple connections are launched simultaneously using the HPE iLO Integrated Remote Console Application.
When this occurs, a login error message will appear:
In addition, the Moonshot 1500 Chassis Manager WEB GUI Dashboard may display those same affected m750 server blades in Critical or Degraded state.
Scope
Any HPE ProLiant m750 Server Blade with HPE Integrated Lights-Out 5 (iLO 5) firmware version 2.55 to version 2.71 on an HPE Moonshot 1500 Chassis.
Resolution
To resolve this issue, update to Integrated Lights-Out 5 (iLO 5) firmware version 2.72 (or later). To begin the update, download iLO 5 firmware version 2.72 (or later) by performing the following steps:

Enter in the Search field "iLO 5 firmware version 2.72" and click the icon at the far right of the field. The page will refresh.
Select the "DRIVERS AND SOFTWARE" tab to find the packages and firmware components that support iLO 5.
Locate and select a link to open the page with a download of the HPE Integrated Lights-Out 5 Version 2.72 (or later).

: To ensure it is the latest version of the firmware/driver, click the "Revision History" tab to check if a newer version of the firmware/driver is available.
