The HPE Smart Array S100i Software RAID or HPE SR100i Gen10 Plus Software RAID may not be discovered in the HPE Integrated Lights-Out 5 (iLO 5) storage and device inventory tab on HPE Gen10 or HPE Gen10 Plus systems containing only software RAID after performing an iLO 5 reset, or in some instances a host reset.
Scope
Any HPE Gen10 or HPE Gen10 Plus system containing only software RAID.
This does not occur on systems with HPE Smart Array SR Gen10 Controller or HPE SR Gen10 Plus Controllers.
Resolution
As a workaround, use HPE Smart Storage Administrator (HPE SSA) or HPE Smart Storage Administrator (HPE SSA) CLI to view the software RAID information.
This is targeted to be resolved in a future version of the iLO 5 firmware. This advisory will be updated when additional information is available.
