The HPE Integrated Lights-Out 4 (iLO 4) Redfish REST API for generating a Certificate Signing Request requires the Organizational Unit attribute. It is a mandatory field to be included in the JSON payload. The Organizational Unit attribute should not be mandatory.
Scope
Any HPE system with HPE Integrated Lights-Out 4.
Resolution
As a workaround, utilize other available methods to generate a Certificate Signing Request where the Organizational Unit field is not mandatory. For instance, the Organizational Unit is an optional field in the iLO 4 Web Interface. The Certificate Signing Request can be successfully generated from the iLO 4 Web Interface without specifying the Organizational Unit.
