Info
All the downlinks on the integrated HPE Apollo InfiniBand EDR 36-port Unmanaged Switch (843407-B21) will go down after upgrading to any of the firmware versions listed below:
15.2008.3000
15.2008.3328
15.2010.1202
15.2010.2036
After the switch firmware update, the "ibstat" command output from any server in the chassis will show the InfiniBand link status as "Down" and the Physical state as "Disabled:"
The issue is caused by an incorrect initialization flow of backplane connections implemented in the affected switch firmware versions.
Note: Only downlinks to nodes in the HPE Apollo k6000 Gen10 chassis are affected. All the external connections (uplinks) from the switch will still be functional.
