After adding a Logical Enclosure (LE) and assigning the server profiles to the server hardware, some servers in the LE may report the alert message, "The adapter in Mezzanine Slot X is present but reported incomplete or invalid configuration data:"
When this occurs, the server profile assignment will be in a pending status also.
Scope
Any version earlier than HPE OneView 7.1 that manages HPE Synergy servers with any of the following adapters:
HPE Synergy 6810C 25/50Gb Ethernet Adapter
HPE Synergy 4820C 10/20/25Gb Converged Network Adapter
HPE Synergy 6820C 25/50Gb Converged Network Adapter
Resolution
This issue will be fixed in a future release of HPE Synergy Service Pack (SSP).
As a workaround to resolve this issue, perform the steps below to recover the system:
1. Re-assign the server profile to the server hardware.
2. After the server profile is assigned, re-apply from server profile.
3. Power on the server blade.
