For any HPE Edgeline EL8000 Converged Edge System or HPE Edgeline EL8000t Converged Edge System, the HPE Edgeline Chassis Manager (ECM) firmware version 2.1 (or later) will automatically update the 10G SFP+ switch firmware to the version included in the ECM. As a result, no manual intervention will be required to update the switch firmware.
