The HPE Integrated Lights-Out 5 (iLO 5) will inaccurately report the temperature of the Pensando DSP DSC-25 10/25G 2p SFP28 card when installed in an HPE Edgeline e920, e920d or e920t Server Blade. As a result, the server blades will power off. When this card has reached a thermal limit that it cannot manage, the Integrated Lights-Out 5 (iLO 5) Insight Management Log (IML) will display the following entry: IML Class Machine Environment: Cooling IML Description: Cooling IML Message: System overheating (Temperature Sensor 19, Location I/O Board, Temperature 127) Action: Check fans, processor heat sink and air baffles installation. After sixty seconds, the Insight Management Log (IML) will display this log entry. Then, the server blade will perform an automatic shut down and power off. IML Class: OS IML Description: Other IML Message: Automatic Operating System Shutdown Initiated Due to Overheat Condition. Action: Check simultaneously logged messages for cause of shutdown and address those issues accordingly.
