Any HPE Synergy Compute Module configured with either of the HPE Synergy Converged Network Adapters with firmware combo image version 8.55.31 (or earlier) listed in the scope section below may experience a link down condition on all ports as a result of an issue identified within the management firmware of the Converged Network Adapter. The condition in the management firmware of the Converged Network Adapter results in a loss or interruption of PMCI communication with the network adapter, causing a link down state for all of the ports connected to the Converged Network Adapter and manageability status change for the host in OneView. HPE OneView may report an issue with the server profile stating " Unable to read server adapter configuration data. The iLO is unable to communicate with the adapter in Mezzanine Slot X. " - where X is the slot with the affected Converged Network Adapter. Recover the HPE Synergy Compute Modules by physically reseating them (remove the HPE Synergy Compute Module and reinsert it) or by performing an E-fuse reset using the HPE OneView REST API on the HPE Synergy Compute module. For more details, refer to " Perform a hard reset on a bay using EFuse " in the HPE OneView REST API Scripting Help.
