On SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 12 SP4/SP5, when attempting to update the system recovery set during an HPE Integrated Lights-Out 5 (iLO 5) firmware update using the iLO 5 local login via chif, the following may be displayed: iLO InitialError
Any HPE system running SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 12 SP4/SP5 with an iLO 5 local login via chif.
To avoid this issue, remote or virtual NIC login to iLO 5 from the RESTful Interface Tool (ilorest) or use the iLO 5 web interface to update the recovery set. This advisory will be updated when additional information is available.
