VersionRelease DateDetails2January 21, 2022Reference to a future resolution was removed from the Resolution section.1October 15, 2021Original Document Release. On HPE StoreOnce 3660, 5260 and 5660 Systems running StoreOnce 4.3.0 software, the 7-segment display on connected JBOD enclosures will remain with a blank "- -" display instead of displaying correct enumeration numbers, when connected to the Smart Array storage controller after storage is configured. When this occurs, this might lead to confusion and an expectation that the JBOD has not been correctly discovered by the storage controllers in the StoreOnce appliance. This occurs on systems running StoreOnce 4.3.0 software.
Any of the following HPE products with the storage expansion enclosures attached and storage configured are affected by this issue:HPE StoreOnce 3660 SystemHPE StoreOnce 5260 SystemHPE StoreOnce 5660 System
Configured enclosures can still be identified using the StoreOnce GUI. The StoreOnce GUI will indicate the configured and un-configured enclosures for a given system. On the GUI, go to System Dashboard and selectHealth Status>Hardware>Hardware Monitoring>Storage.View the status of the storage expansion enclosures under the designated PCI-E slots. (For 3660 this is PCI-E Slot 6. For 5260 and 5660 systems, this is PCI-E Slot 3 and 6.)RECEIVE PROACTIVE UPDATES: Receive support alerts (such as Customer Advisories), as well as updates on drivers, software, firmware, and customer replaceable components, proactively in your e-mail through HPE Support Alerts.
