Info
After updating the MLB CPLD v3939 or later on an HPE ProLiant XL225n Gen10 Plus server cartridge and disabling the i350 LOM through System Configuration (RBSU), the HPE Integrated Light-Out 5 (iLO 5) network will not function after an iLO reset until a node AC power-cycle is performed.
The following examples show the process of disabling the i350 LOM through the RBSU:
The "NetworkInterface Adapter" keeps the default setting at "Shared Network-LOM:"
The "PCIe Device Disable" changes to "Disabled."
Scope
Any HPE Apollo 2000 Gen10 plus with an HPE ProLiant XL225n Gen10 Plus server in the configuration detailed above.
Resolution
After the iLO resets, AC power-cycle the node to restore the iLO network. A power-cycle is only required after the initial iLO reset.
