Virtual Machine migrations between HPE SimpliVity systems that have been upgraded to VMware vSphere 7.0 and those newly deployed with VMware vSphere 7.0, fail the Compatibility Check of the Select networks step with the following message: "Currently connected network interface" 'Network adapter 1' cannot use network 'Guest Network', because "the destination network on the destination host is configured for different offload or security policies than the source network on the source host". The failed Compatibility Check is caused by different security policies between HPE SimpliVity hosts. VMware changed default Forged transmits and MAC address changes settings between vSphere versions 6.x and 7.0. See VMware article 67853 for more information. Click Virtual switches under Networking and expand vSwitch0. 5) Click Edit. The vSwitch0 - Edit Settings pop-up window appears. 6) In the vSwitch0 - Edit Settings window, click Security in the left navigation menu. 7) Expand the drop-down menu for MAC address changes and select Reject. 8) Expand the drop-down menu for Forged transmits and select Reject. 9) Click OK to save the settings.
