HPE strongly recommends immediate application of this critical fix. Neglecting to perform the required action could leave the platform in an unstable condition. By disregarding this notification and not performing the recommended resolution, the customer accepts the risk of incurring future related errors. For any HPE platforms listed in the Scope section below and configured with HPE NS204i OS Boot Devices running firmware version 1.0.14.1052 (or earlier), in rare instances data inconsistency issues may occur during the volume rebuild process when a Redfish read operation is performed while the NVMe drives are rebuilding. A volume rebuild occurs when drives are reseated or replaced. If this issue has already occurred, the Operating System (OS) will still be able to boot. This issue may occur while the NVMe drives are rebuilding and any of the following: Click the Storage tab in the HPE Integrated Lights-Out 5 (iLO 5) GUI. This action would likely be performed to check the rebuild progress. If using iLO 5 firmware version 2.40 (or later). This version automatically polls the Redfish storage resources every one hour.
