On any HPE Server running Microsoft Windows Server Operating Systems and configured with any of the HPE Intel-based network adapters listed in the Scope section below, when disabling the Local Area Connection, it does not result in loss of Link.It is common to test the failover functionality of a Team by disabling the Local Area Connection of one of the member NICs in a Team. However, when performing this action with one of the network adapters listed in the Scope section, the connection will not immediately failover to another member NIC in the Team.This issue occurs is due to default operating conditions of the Windows Intel NIC driver.

This condition can be changed by modifying one of the Advanced Driver Parameters via a Configuration Change.
