Info
HPE OneView may incorrectly display the state of an unmanaged interconnect. Unmanaged switches, such as the HPE 6125G Ethernet Blade Switch, should have a status of "unknown," which corresponds to a grey status. On OneView versions 5.0 to 5.5, the status may incorrectly be displayed as "Ok," which corresponds to a green status.
When upgrading to version 5.6 from versions 5.0 to 5.5, unmanaged switches may report grey when they were green before the update. This does not indicate a problem with the switches nor a degradation of their status. It is the expected behavior.
The following examples display the correct and incorrect status for unmanaged interconnects.
