In rare instances, while attempting to obtain the Active Health System (AHS) log using the RESTFUL Interface tool (iLOrest) command "ilorest serverlogs --selectlog=AHS," the following message may be displayed: Partition Mounting Error (An exception occurred obtaining Black box data files. The directory may be empty: No AHS log files found) This may occur in rare instances and only occurs when running in local Channel Interface (CHIF) mode.
Any HPE system running Linux when attempting to access the AHS logs using iLOrest.
This is targeted to be resolved in a future release of the RESTFUL Interface Tool. This advisory will be updated when additional information is available. As a workaround, attempt to run the serverlogs command again as follows: Login using IP address of affected server from a remote system. ilorest login <IP> -u <user> -p <password> ilorest serverlogs --selectlog=AHS RECEIVE PROACTIVE UPDATES : Receive support alerts (such as Customer Advisories), as well as updates on drivers, software, firmware, and customer replaceable components, proactively via e-mail through HPE Subscriber's Choice.
