On an HPE Edgeline EL300 Converged Edge Systems, RHEL/CentOS 7.x may log Machine Check Exception (MCE)errors during boot for both i5 and i7 processors:

Scope
Any HPE Edgeline EL300 Converged Edge system with RHEL/CentOS 7.x installed.
Resolution
MCE functionality is not supported on the i5 and i7 processors and, as a result, the dmesg log entry can be safely ignored. System functionality is not impacted.
