On an HPE system, if using errata 3.10.0-957.27.2.el7.x86_64 to replace the inbox kernel 3.10.0-957.el7.x86_64 in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.6, the inbox Marvell driver is still loaded by the new errata kernel. If booting to an errata kernel, the errata kernel will search for the out-of-box (OOB) drivers in the path /lib/modules/3.10.0-957.27.2.el7.x86_64/extra. However, errata extra is empty; therefore, errata cannot find OOB driver in errata extra path and the errata kernel will load the original inbox Marvell driver directly.
