With certain configurations, editing the Logical Enclosure (LE) and changing the Enclosure Group during a Grow Procedure will result in the following error message:
"
Unable to update logical enclosure: LE_1F
Unable to change the enclosure group to EG-2F because the settings in the group or a referenced logical interconnect group are not compatible with the current enclosure group.
Resolution: Select a different enclosure group. Alternatively, edit the new enclosure group and its logical interconnect groups to be compatible with the current enclosure group.
-The bay_2 profile does not have redundant connections for the following network(s) Net-Name. Resolution: Add each network in the list to a connection mapped to mezzanine 3, port d8 and retry the operation
."
The following is an example of this error message:
The table below shows the connections for Server Profile Bay_2 with the network assigned to two ports: one that maps to Interconnect bay #3, and one that maps to Interconnect bay #6.
The issue is specific to the redundant connection on a different mezzanine card
; in this case, Mezz slot 3 and Mezz slot 6:

Scope
Any version of HPE OneView for Synergy with full-height compute nodes for interconnect modules and connections.
Resolution
This issue is fixed by upgrading to
HPE OneView 5.20.01 for Synergy
or later versions.
As a workaround, temporarily assign networks to both ports on the same mezzanine card until after the Grow Procedure is completed.
