On an HPE OneView for Synergy 4.20.01 configuration, a standby Synergy Composer will not join the cluster if secure data at rest is enabled and the composer uses a self-signed certificate that has been re-generated.
There is not an explicit error message nor symptom associated with this issue other than the standby appliance not joining the cluster.

HPE OneView for Synergy 4.20.01 with Secure Data at Rest configured.
Resolution
This issue has been fixed in HPE OneView for Synergy 4.20.02 and 5.0, which allows the standby Synergy Composer to join the cluster in the conditions described above.
