Any HPE Cloudline CL2600 Gen10 Server or HPE Cloudline CL2800 Gen10 Server configured with an HPE Ethernet 1Gb 4-port 366FLR Adapter may stop functioning during the initial boot (startup sequence), when ESC is pressed to enter the BIOS setup utility.
This only occurs when BIOS is set to Legacy Mode. Unified Extensible Firmware Interface (UEFI) is not affected by this issue.
Scope
Either of the following HPE Clouldline servers configured with an HPE Ethernet 1Gb 4-port 366FLR Adapter:
HPE Cloudline CL2600 Gen10 Server
HPE Cloudline CL2800 Gen10 Server
Resolution
To resolve this issue, download and install any of the following firmware smart components:
HPE Intel Online Firmware Upgrade Utility for Windows Server x64 Editions version 5.2.0.0
HPE Intel Online Firmware Upgrade Utility for Linux x86_64 version 1.19.11
HPE Intel Online Firmware Upgrade Utility for VMware version 3.12.12
