This is not a hardware issue, do not replace any hardware. This issue has been resolved in HPE Intelligent Provisioning 3.22, available for download at https://support.hpe.com/hpsc/swd/public/detail?swItemId=MTX_49c1286bcd954376a00d0484e8#tab5 . HPE strongly recommends NOT TO run a QUICK test in the HVT on these systems until HPE Intelligent Provisioning 3.22 has been installed. The following workarounds are available if this issue is encountered: To recover the logical drives, reboot the system two times to clear all POST error messages and restore data from the backup. If reboot does not recover the logical drives and the POST error messages are still present, clear the smart array controller configuration using Smart Storage Administrator (SSA) and then reconfigure the logical drives and restore the data from a backup.
