Any HPE system installing SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 15 via iSCSI Boot From SAN or Boot from Local Hard Disk with the HPE iSCSI driver (be2iscsi) using the network adapters: HPE StoreFabric CN1200E-T Adapter (iSCSI) HP StoreFabric CN1200E 10Gb Converged Network Adapter (iSCSI) HP FlexFabric 20Gb 2-port 650FLB Adapter (iSCSI) HP FlexFabric 20Gb 2-port 650M Adapter (iSCSI)
This occurs due to MSI-X not getting enabled on SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 15 with the new API changes and fails back to INTX which is not working with the HPE 10/20GbE iSCSI devices listed in the Scope section. Therefore, the driver is not receiving interrupts causing the driver to stop responding on the return of MSI-X call. The software on Blade System Network Adapters that are experiencing this issue is no longer supported. As a workaround, use the SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 15 inbox driver.
