Info
The Dual Inline Memory Modules (DIMMs) power consumption reading will always display zero under the HPE Integrated Lights-Out 5 (iLO 5) web interface on an HPE ProLiant DL20 Gen10 and HPE ProLiant ML30 Gen10 server.
The "DIMM power consumption" item is on the Power Meter page under iLO 5 web interface:
The operation or functionality of the DIMMs is not affected.
Scope
Any HPE ProLiant DL20 Gen10 or HPE ProLiant ML30 Gen10 server running iLO 5 firmware version 1.30.
Resolution
The zero reading of DIMM power consumption under iLO 5 web interface can safely be ignored.
This occurs because the HPE ProLiant DL20 Gen10 and HPE ProLiant ML30 Gen10 servers do not support reading the DIMM power consumption. The "DIMM Power Consumption" will be removed in the next iLO 5 firmware version.
This CA will be updated when additional information is available.
NOTE:
Products sold prior to the November 1, 2015 separation of Hewlett-Packard Company into Hewlett Packard Enterprise Company and HP Inc. may have older product names and model numbers that differ from current models.
