When attempting to use Smart Update Manager for Inventory and update on HPE ProLiant Gen10 servers, certain VMware drivers and Software components that are listed below may display the Active Version as blank and the ones with Active Versions may display a different format than the Available version: These drivers will always show as selected for update in SUM even after the driver has been updated. These Active versions will continue to be displayed as blank and the updated versions will be displayed in a different format after the update, causing SUM to select them again for an update: This could cause confusion since the driver version displayed is not updated to reflect that the driver was updated.

This issue has been addressed with Agentless Management Service (AMS) version 11.4.0 (or later): AMS 600.11.4.0 included in ESXi Offline Bundle for vSphere 6.0 version 3.4.0 AMS 650.11.4.0 included in ESXi Offline Bundle for vSphere 6.5 version 3.4.0 AMS 670.11.4.0 included in ESXi Offline Bundle for vSphere 6.7 version 3.4.0 As a workaround, to view and verify the installed software and driver versions, access the individual ESXi host's Client UI via web browser and navigate to Host/Manage/Packages as shown below. This can also be done from vSphere vCenter.
