Info
On HPE Superdome Flex and HPE Superdome Flex 280 servers, the Base Management Controller (BMC) may occasionally encounter a software error condition that will automatically reboot the BMC to recover from the error.
When the BMC returns to normal operation, an event, BMC_KERNEL_PANIC, may be seen in the Integrated Event Log.
Note: The system operation is not affected by the BMC reboot. No action is needed from the user.
Scope
Any HPE Superdome Flex or HPE Superdome Flex 280 servers.
