HPE ProLiant Gen10 series servers will use Hardware Validation Tool (HVT, available through Intelligent Provisioning at the boot menu) in place of Insight Diagnostics for survey, diagnosis, and component test needs. Embedded Diagnostics (available through System Utilities at the boot menu) also provides storage and memory exercising, as well as a smaller number of component tests.
Both of these tools require Intelligent Provisioning 3.20 or higher. Embedded Diagnostics also requires one of the following:
The ROM from Intelligent Provisioning 3.10 or higher
The ROM from SPP 2018.03 or higher
