On an HPE ProLiant Gen9 server running HPE Intelligent Provisioning Version 2.50 with a Micro SD Card device installed in an internal slot along with SAS hard disk drives configured on an embedded Smart Array controller Micro SD card device, the server will be unable to boot into F10 HPE Intelligent Provisioning and the system will display the following error message:
Warning!!! Unable to mount the file system [LABEL}
Preboot maintenance mode
/bin/ash: can't access tty: job control turned off

This issue occurs due to an anomaly in the HPE Intelligent Provisioning 2.50 boot scripts.
Scope
Any HPE ProLiant Gen9 server running HPE Intelligent Provisioning Version 2.50.
Resolution
A fix for this issue has been implemented in HPE Intelligent Provisioning Recovery CD media Version 2.60 or 2.61, available at:
