On an HPE ProLiant server with one of the network adapters listed in the Scope section below and running the HP Emulex 10GbE Driver for Linux (hp-be2net) version 11.1.183.21 (or earlier), a network link loss may occur and the following entries may be logged to the Linux OS Messages Log: kernel: be2net 0000:05:00.1: Error in FW/Card kernel: be2net 0000:05:00.1: ethX: Link down This occurs because of a disconnect between the driver and the firmware while the network adapter is under a network load.
