When this occurs, no network link will be established and the Command Line Interface (CLI) of the Pass-Thru module will display the following when the module is reset: Port 1 Installed CU SFP Port 1 UnApproved - CU SFPis DISABLED Port 2 Installed CU SFP Port 2 UnApproved - CU SFPis DISABLED Port 3 Installed CU SFP Port 3 UnApproved - CU SFPis DISABLED The HPE 10GbE Pass-Thru Module Firmware contains coding that checks certain aspects of the information on the transceiver and performs a comparison to an approved list. The following Manufacturer Part # was identified to have been incorrectly programmed at the factory prior to Week 50 of 2017. Transceivers with the affected Manufacturer Part # listed below and a date code of 1749 (YYWW - 17="2017" 49=Week 49) or earlier contain incorrect programming from the factory and will not function in this configuration. Transceivers manufactured after week 49 in 2017 (1750 and newer) are not affected by this issue.
