The HPE Synergy Release Set 3.00.20170417 contains firmware for the Composer, Image Streamer Appliance, and a new version of the HPE Synergy Custom Service Pack for ProLiant (SPP) Bundle, as well as links to the appropriate firmware versions for unmanaged interconnects. This version is now available on the HPE Software Depot: www.hpe.com/downloads/synergy

The 3.00.20170417 HPE Synergy Release Set contains the following: HPE Synergy Composer Firmware 3.00.07: This is the 3.00.07 update.bin for HPE OneView. Only HPE OneView is updated on the Composer with this patch. There are many key defect fixes in this patch, as well as enablement for Image Streamer. There is no difference in the Composer bundle for 3.00.20170323 HPE Synergy Release Set. This prior bundle has been brought forward for 3.00.20170417. Image Streamer Firmware 3.00.05: This is the initial release of Image Streamer, and requires the 3.00.07 FW for the HPE Synergy Composer. This version of Image Streamer is not changing since its initial release in the 3.00.20170323 HPE Synergy Release Set. HPE Synergy Custom SPP Bundle 2017.07.20170417: This Custom SPP Bundle for Synergy delivers key improvements to the solution, including: HPE Virtual Connect 40GB Module, Firmware Version 1.0.2-1006: Adds support for Boot from SAN (BfS) for VMware ESXi 5.5 and 6.0. Customer Notice: c05388813 Resolves an issue where the Dual 10GBASE-T QSFP+ 30m RJ45 Transceiver does not link when connected to FLM using Synergy Image Streamer. Resolves an issue where QSFP+ transceivers (BiDi, LR4) were not linking. Customer Advisory: a00005013 Resolves an issue with loss of stacking domain heartbeats between primary and subordinate interconnects which results in the subordinate interconnect module being reset. Customer Advisory: c05358817 Resolves an issue where modifying Fibre Channel (FC) uplink sets in HPE OneView fails to complete after a force reinstallation of the firmware on interconnects. Includes all changes from firmware version 1.0.1.1004. HPE Synergy SAS Connection Module FW 1.0.22.0: Fixed an issue where certain SAS and SATA SSD drives greater than 2 TB will not work in HPE Synergy Storage Module when attached to HPE Synergy 12Gb SAS Connection Module running firmware version 1.0.20.0: Customer Advisory: a00003411en_us Brocade switch updated firmware version FOS 8.0.1b.
