On certain HPE ProLiant servers running VMware ESXi 6.0, the VMware ESXi6.0U2p04 patch may cause the SMX_EthernetPort provider to fail when enumerated. When the Smart Update Manager(SUM) is executed remotely to connect to a VMware ESXi host, the Smart Update Manager(SUM) fails to inventory, and the following error message will be displayed:
"Inventory errors VMware node inventory failed while reading NIC information.
Please check you network connectivity and HP WBEM provider status in the VMware node."

Upgrade the VMware ESXi6.0U2p04 patch to VMware ESXi6.0U3 patch.
