The customer has been performing vulnerability scans. This meant that the NAS servers were being scanned (using SSH) which caused the issue. A Storage Processor panic has occurred on Unity OE 4.5.1.0.5.001, in this case SPA has encountered panic with cause SIGSEGV.
The panic was caused by accessing a memory address that was null (not initialized). This was caused by the SSH client sending a message sequence out-of-order leading SSH (on the array) to access a memory address (incorrect array index) which had not been initialized.
