A Virtual Machine (VM) client on Avamar cannot be deleted or retired if the vCenter could not provide its Universally Unique Identifier (UUID) during creation: admin@ave:~/>: mccli client delete --name=/vCenterHostName/VirtualMachines/VM_Client_HostName 1,22240,Client delete failed. A vCenter may "autoadd" a VM without a UUID. The root cause is unknown.
