When using SourceOne Web search no mapped folders are listed to search on. You may also see that you are restricted to a Search type of "My items". The following error can be seen in ExWebSearchService logs: Lotus Domino Domain Alias is ENBALED Lotus Notes error status = 0x1908 Lotus Notes error status = 0x1908 Lotus Notes error status = 0x1908 Failed to Init Notes DirObjLookup Object Object is uninitialized. This issue can be caused by using 'Domino Domain aliasing'. Domino Domain aliasing is a feature of IBM Domino. If the list of Domain alias's is extreme then the time taken to load can timeout the search.
Disabling the Domain aliasing in the Domino environment can resolve the issue. Consult your Domino administrator in regards to this procedure as it may be required or in need of administration and culling. Restarting SourceOne and IIS services on SourceOne web servers may resolve the issue temporarily.
