The node is not operating under a redundant power state. A power supply is reporting a failed state: Timestamp = 2019-04-25_133302 Category = platform Source = cs_hal Severity = CRITICAL Node = 169.254.1.2 Message = Power Supply Failure Extra = {'node': '169.254.1.2', 'item': 'PS2 Status', 'info': 'input lost', 'status': 'FAIL'} RAP = RAP015 Solution = 201243
This is a power cable or power supply issue.
Verify the issue: 1. Check the status of the power supplies using cs_hal. Example: # cs_hal sensors psu Entity Type Label Status Info ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- Power Supply PSU PS1 Status OK Power Supply PSU PS2 Status OK # cs_hal sensors psu Entity Type Label Status Info ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- Power Supply PSU PS1 Status FAIL failure detected; failure predicted; Power Supply PSU PS2 Status OK 2. The physical state of the cable must be checked. Customers can check, or else a field engineer can be sent to the site. Once cables are then confirmed as secure run the check again from the command on step 1.3. If the power supply is still reporting an issue and the cable is not loose, contact Dell technical support to arrange a replacement.
