Symptoms

The power button brightness on a WD19 series Dell Dock, Dell Performance Dock, Dell Thunderbolt Dock, or a WD22 series Dell Thunderbolt Dock varies depending on the LED device manufacturer. The power button LED may appear to be off in regular indoor lighting. Turning off ambient lights or using a smartphone camera to look at the LED may make the power button LED more visible. Cause

The LED has a low brightness level.

Resolution

There is no functional failure of the dock, the LED is only dim. The power LED indicator on the USB cable connection to the computer is a secondary proof of power. This LED is bright and can be seen when connecting the dock to a supported computer.
