Dell Display and Peripheral Manager versions 2.2.0.19 and earlier may experience audio issues with affected Dell monitors. There are two scenarios that may be encountered: Scenario 1: When playing audio or video through the monitor speakers, the monitor on-screen display (OSD) volume may automatically increase to 100%. Scenario 2: When audio is playing through the monitor speakers and the monitor OSD times out at the same time, the audio may unexpectedly be muted. Note: Before starting the update, perform the following: Back up all personal data. For more information, refer to Back Up and Recovery . Connect the AC adapter if updates are being run on a laptop. Ensure that power remains connected if updates are being run on a desktop. Updating Dell Display and Peripheral Manager to version 2.2.0.19 or later on the computer resolves the issue.
