During the design and test phases of the ES30 shelf enclosure, two PSU models were evaluated: EMC Gen 2 PS000B0015 Only 000B0015 was approved for production. Later, 000B0027 was added as a supported PSU. The EMC Gen 2 PS was dropped before release and never in manufacturing support or ES30 firmware. If present, the EMC Gen 2 PS functions but lacks environmental sensors, resulting in missing temperature data and triggering alerts. These units were not intended for customer environments and should be replaced.
Identify the affected PSU using system alerts and the enclosure show temperature-sensors CLI command.Confirm if the PSU is an EMC Gen 2 PS.Contact your contracted Support Provider.Arrange for replacement with a supported PSU model (000B0015 or 000B0027). Note: While there is no immediate operational risk, the unsupported PSU must be replaced to ensure full environmental monitoring and system compliance.
