The laptop stops responding after resuming from sleep under the following conditions: The laptop is running a Teams call with the camera on and enters sleep. The laptop enters sleep mode automatically when the battery reaches a critical level. On resume the laptop starts running a Teams call with video and it stops responding. An unexpected power state occurs in the transition flow when the laptop enters hibernation mode.
Update the Windows 11 operating system to build version 24H2 or 25H2 to resolve the problem. The issue is only seen with version 23H2 installed. Note : Intel advises that they are working on a driver update to resolve this for those who do not want to update their operating system version. However, they do not have a release date for this.
