The following criteria must be met: Have a firmware compliance baseline associated to the Enterprise Server Update catalog version 26.01.05 released January 02, 2026. Figure 1: OpenManage Enterprise (OME) catalog management showing impacted catalog version, 26.01.05 Create a firmware compliance job that only includes components where reboot required is 'No' and includes the firmware component shown as 'Dell' in the compliance report. The Dell Connectivity Client (DCC) installer plug-in was added to the enterprise server update catalog (January 02, 2025, version 26.01.05). OpenManage Enterprise does not support this firmware component type and causes an unexpected server restart. The DCC plug-in is identified in the firmware compliance report with a component name of 'Dell' and baseline version of '100.4.0.'
Dell Technologies will add support for this firmware component in OpenManage Enterprise version 4.6.0 releasing January 08, 2026. Also, the DCC plug-in is temporarily removed from the next release of the enterprise server update catalog, version 26.01.07. The new catalog will be available on January 08, 2026. There are plans to add the DCC plug-in back into the enterprise server update catalog tentatively for the May or June 2026 release. As a workaround, do not select the 'Dell' component from the firmware compliance report. No further remediation steps are required once the new catalog is available or OpenManage Enterprise (OME) is updated to version 4.6.0.
