The Alienware logo is seen during boot as part of the Alienware splash screen. However, AW2725DM and AW3225DM monitors when connecting to Alienware Area-51 desktops and turning on or resuming from sleep or hibernation in Windows do not display it. (Where the external monitor is running Firmware (FW) M2C102 .) This is due to a monitor firmware issue.
Note: Before starting the update, perform the following: Back up all personal data. For more information, refer to: Back Up and Recovery AW2725DW Monitor: Updating the monitor firmware to version M2C103 on the desktop resolves the issue.
