Device creation wizard fails in NetWorker NMC. Error message: Unable to send a request: SSL peer certificate or SSH remote key was not OK NetWorker logs may show: Unable to perform authentication for host <hostname>, user <sysadmin>, port <3009>: SSL peer certificate or SSH remote key was not OK.
The issue is a result of incompatibility between the DD Boost plugin version used by NetWorker and the DDOS version running on the Data Domain system. When these components are not aligned, authentication and secure communication may fail during device creation.
Ensure that the DD Boost plugin version used by NetWorker is compatible with the DDOS version on the target Data Domain system. Recommended Actions: Review the Compatibility Matrix for DD Boost and DDOS versions.* Upgrade DDOS or the DD Boost plugin as required to align versions.* After aligning versions, retry Cloud Tier device creation in NetWorker NMC. *Customer login may be required to access certain downloaded content.
