You might have no audio with the Dell SB725 soundbar when the soundbar is connected to the USB port on a Dell monitor. Affected Device: Dell Pro Premium Conferencing Soundbar SB725
If the monitors USB upstream cable is not connected to the Dell computer, there is no audio data sent between the computer and the Dell monitor.
USB Upstream Cable If the monitor is connected to the computer using an HDMI or the DisplayPort connection, the Dell monitors USB Type B or Type C upstream cable must be connected to the computer to power the soundbar. Connect the USB upstream cable that shipped with the Dell monitor to the monitor and connect the other end of the cable to the computer. Note: You want to ensure that the Dell monitor is compatible with the soundbar.
