The issue is the presence in the registry path HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{[WMS-GUID]} of the registry value LocalRepository with no data specified.

Open the Windows Registry Editor on the WMS server by typing regedit into a Run window and selecting OK . Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{[WMS-GUID]} To look for WMS-GUID open the above path in Regedit, look for each GUID one by one until you see a registry value DisplayName Dell Wyse Management Suite Right-click LocalRepository and select Modify . Set the path to the Local repository (the default one is C:\WMS\LocalRepo ). Run the WMS installed for 5.1.0.351 again
