During a dock firmware update, a warning message occurs. Affected Platforms: Dell Thunderbolt Dock - WD19TBS Dell Thunderbolt Dock - WD22TB4 OptiPlex 3090 Ultra OptiPlex 7090 Ultra
Dell Firmware Update (DFU) v5 base had removed the System Management BIOS (SMBIOS) support. It might cause the host (without battery) for wrong detection by any data from SMBIOS.
Note: Before starting the update, perform the following: Back up all personal data. For more information, refer to Back Up and Recovery . Connect the AC adapter. Updating the Dell Dock WD19/WD22TB4 Firmware Update Utility to version 01.01.01.01,01.01.11.01 or later on the dock resolves the issue.
