The following error appears in the GUI or /ddr/var/log/debug/sm/em.info: Connection attempt timed out with [<remote-dd-name>], please check if proxy [<ip>] is reachable from Management Host [<local-dd-name>].
The remote Data Domain's IP address was changed recently, which rendered its web GUI registry record invalid. protocol.gui.ddem.inventory.X.proxy = <old-remote-dd-ip>
Follow the steps in this article to correct the managed system in the GUI configuration: Data Domain: Web UI reports "Mutual trust may have to be reestablished" in "Replication - Automatic - Summary" If assistance is needed, contact your contracted support provider.
